A1100 ELECTRONIC POLYPHASE METER Elster Metering Systems electronic A1100 meter is a cost-effective one/two rate electronic polyphase meter for import only or import/export, CT or direct connected, domestic, commercial or light industrial applications. The meter can be supplied with a large digit liquid crystal display or a mechanical register. The use of innovative metering technology provides high security and ensures the meter maintains its accuracy over its full operating range.
ENERGYAXIS® SYSTEM The EnergyAxis® System’s new fully automated, intelligent two-way communications makes on-request meter reads and server-initiated commands a reality. Its powerful two-way communications, coupled with Elster’s new electronic single phase REX™ meter, enables utilities not only to read meters, but to change energy, demand, or time-of-use rates as needed, start or stop load profile interval recording, or initiate a service disconnect.
REX™ METER Elster Electricity’s REX™ meter is an electronic, single phase electricity meter designed for residential metering. With two-way communications, it offers demand, time-of-use (TOU), load profile recording, bi-directional metering and critical tier pricing (CTP) capabilities in addition to kWh consumption measurement. The REX meter has on-board two-way radio frequency (RF) communications that permit the meter to respond to requests over an unlicensed 900 MHz local area network (LAN).
A3 ALPHA® METER/COLLECTOR The A3 ALPHA® meter/collector functions as a wide area network (WAN) interface, local area network (LAN) interface, and data collector within Elster Electricity’s EnergyAxis® System. To act as an interface and data collector, the A3 ALPHA meter/collector must be equipped with an internal telephone modem (ITM3) and internal LAN controller (ILC1) option board.
